Established in 2007, Ailsapress is a new venture undertaken by artist Ruth MacLean and writer/book designer Catherine Wilson. Together they created the book The Tail of Ailsa. A paperback edition of 1,500 copies has been printed in order to discover the potential of the book for a wider market. Already a large group of friends and admirers have committed to buy their own copy.
